Terms of service

§1. Service: Denar is a private, non-commercial service for household budgeting, tasks and family matters, provided by [controller] ([contact address]), the "Provider". The service is free of charge.

§2. Account: registration is possible only with a single-use invitation code from the Provider (the code may be valid for a limited time or bound to a specific e-mail address). The user provides a real e-mail, protects the password (2FA recommended) and does not share the account. A child account can only be created by a parent or legal guardian in the Family module, who is responsible for the child's use of it. A child cannot register on their own.

§3. Rules of use: no actions harming the service (attacks, circumventing security, mass downloading), no unlawful content and no other people's data without a legal basis. The Provider may block an account violating the Terms after prior notice, unless security requires otherwise.

§4. No warranty: the service is provided "as is", without any warranty of availability, correctness or fitness for a particular purpose. Calculations (forecasts, limits, per diems, overtime, taxes) are auxiliary and are not financial, tax or legal advice. The Provider makes efforts to keep backups, but users should regularly export important data. To the extent permitted by law the Provider's liability is limited to damage caused intentionally.

§5. Data: processing is described in the Privacy policy. The user remains the owner of their data and may export it at any time.

§6. Account deletion: the user can delete the account in Settings → Data ("Delete account", confirmed with the password) or by e-mail. Data is deleted without delay, from backups within the retention cycle (up to about 12 months). The Provider may discontinue the service with at least 30 days' notice, allowing data export.

§7. Complaints and contact: [contact address], reply within 14 days.

§8. Changes to the Terms: we inform about changes in the app; a new version must be accepted at the next sign-in. Without acceptance only data export and account deletion are available.

§9. Governing law and language versions: Polish law. The Polish version of the Terms and the Privacy policy is binding; the English version is for information only. Consumers keep the protection of the laws of their country of residence.
